Dean, Global College, Long Island UniversityVice President for Academic Affairs, Long Island University Dr. Robert Glass is the Dean of Global College and the University Dean of International Education at Long Island University. Prior to becoming Dean, Robert was the Director of the year-long Comparative Religion and Culture Program, traveling with students as they studied the worldÕs religions in ten week terms in each of Japan, India, and Israel, with breaks in Thailand and Nepal. Jeffrey Kane, Ph.D., is the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Long Island University. Dr. Kane, an educational philosopher, has served as a dean of two schools of education and has extensive experience in program development. He was instrumental in crafting the academic principles that underlie Global College and in designing the curriculum.
