FEATURED SPEAKER: HENRY SCHACHT
Managing Director and Senior Advisor, Warburg Pincus LLCDirector, Alcatel-Lucent Henry B. Schacht is a Managing Director and Senior Advisor of Warburg Pincus LLC and a Director of Alcatel-Lucent, where he once was Chairman and CEO. Following service in the U.S. Navy and graduate school, he joined the Irwin Management Company. Later he joined Cummins Engine Company, eventually becoming its Chairman and CEO. A trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a fellow of the Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a member of the American Philosophical Society, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Management Executives' Society, and the U.S.-Japan Business Council, Schacht also serves on the board of ALCOA, is an honorary trustee of the Brookings Institution, and a trustee emeritus of the Culver Educational Foundation. He earned a B.S at Yale and an M.B.A. at Harvard. |
